waltonandjohnson.com (the "Site") is the official website of The Walton & Johnson Show. It is a simple informational site: there are no accounts and nothing is sold here. This policy explains the small amount of information the Site handles.

WHO RUNS THE SITE

The Site is operated by Walton and Johnson LLC ("we" or "us"). Questions about this policy can go to WaltonNJohnson@gmail.com.

WHAT WE COLLECT

  • Server logs. Like nearly every website, our web host (Hostinger) automatically records basic technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the date and time. These logs are used to keep the Site running and secure. We do not use them to identify you.
  • Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply to you.
  • Newsletter. The newsletter signup box is not active yet. It does not send or store your email address. If we launch a newsletter, we will update this policy to name the email service we use, and every email will include an unsubscribe link.

The Site does not ask for your name, address, phone number or payment information.

COOKIES AND ANALYTICS

We use Google Analytics to understand our traffic: which pages people view, roughly where visitors are (city or region level) and what kind of device and browser they use. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this, and the data is collected and handled by Google under its own privacy policy. We have its advertising features turned off, and the Site does not use advertising cookies. To opt out, install Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

LINKS TO OTHER SITES

The Site links to services run by other companies, including the app stores, our merch store (4libertyshop.com, which ilovewj.com points to), ticket sellers, YouTube, podcast platforms and social media. Those sites collect and use information under their own privacy policies. Merch orders, payments and shipping are handled entirely by the store, not by us. Some pages show YouTube videos in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube may set its own cookies when you play one.

SHARING

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share information only if the law requires it, such as in response to a subpoena, or to protect the Site and our rights.

CHILDREN

The Site is meant for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy when the Site changes, for example when a newsletter is turned on. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
